Our service philosophy
Achieving your financial goals requires a clear, comprehensive strategy. We'll partner with you to create a personalized financial plan and guide you through every step of its implementation.
We work with all new clients on a short-term (6 month) comprehensive financial planning basis only.
This allows us to focus our attention on onboarding no more than a few clients at one time. Our mission is to answer your questions now and equip you to deal with whatever it is that motivated you to seek out a financial advisor in the first place.
Once the initial agreement has reached its conclusion, there are multiple ways to proceed. Some clients choose to take their plan and apply what they’ve learned themselves while others choose to establish an ongoing relationship with us as their trusted advisor.

Our onboarding process consists of four meetings where we dive progressively deeper into your financial situation and goals.
Financial Snapshot: Create a complete picture of your assets and liabilities.
Income & Expenses: Understand your cash flow.
Goal Setting: Define your financial aspirations.
Investing 101: Learn about our investing philosophy and assess your risk tolerance.
What you receive
Your personalized financial blueprint: A custom-made report outlining your current situation, projected future, and concrete steps to achieve your goals.
Implementation & Support: We'll work closely with you to implement your plan and provide ongoing monitoring to ensure your success.
Access to premium software: We use Monarch Money and RightCapital to help you get organized and have a dashboard to track your progress.
No limits on meetings or advice: For the duration of our agreement, we will be on call for you whenever you need us.
Our planning service is offered for $3,000 for single clients and $4,500 for households.
50% of the fee is paid upon engagement and the remaining 50% paid upon delivery of your comprehensive financial plan.

Independent Path
Some clients find that after working with us, they have the confidence and tools to manage their finances independently.
We encourage clients choosing this route to stay in touch with us and to reach out if circumstances change and they need additional support.

Guided Path
Many clients value the ongoing support and expertise of a trusted financial advisor and want to establish a long-term relationship where we proactively monitor and adjust your plan while providing on-demand meetings and support to help you respond to life’s changes.
The monthly fee for this service is $250 for single clients and $375 for households.
Investment Management

Core Portfolio
For clients that have established an ongoing relationship, we offer direct management of any accounts you are able to transfer. Most accounts outside of workplace retirement accounts fall into this category.
Investing with us offers advantages such as rebalancing across your entire portfolio and tax-loss harvesting.
Our fee for this service is a fixed 0.25% annually on assets managed.

Enhanced Yield Portfolio
For high net-worth clients seeking a continuous income stream or higher absolute returns, we offer an actively managed strategy for taxable (non-IRA) accounts.
This strategy seeks returns uncorrelated with both equities and bonds by capturing short-term risk premium while also opportunistically buying hedges for equity holdings in the underlying portfolio.
Fees for this specialized service begin at 1% annually and scale downward for accounts exceeding $1,000,000.

We do offer project-based planning but only to clients who have completed a financial plan with us in the past.
Our reasoning is that delivering the best financial advice requires the comprehensive knowledge of your financial situation.
Project-based planning rates are priced on a case-by-case basis but typically start at $250/hr or $2,500 for a plan update.

We will let you decide what you feel most comfortable with. All meetings will be scheduled with a Google Meet option, but I’m always willing to meet clients in the Sacramento area, schedule permitting.
I don’t have an office, but I’ll treat you to a coffee at a place near you or you can drop by my neighborhood cafe.

We will work closely with your tax professional or assist where we legally can if you file taxes yourself.
